National French Fry Day

.

Hello folks,  welcome to the home of the crinkle-cut French fry. Considering the dining pleasure French fries in general have given us for so long and the super-duper extreme Nirvana-like delight that crinkle-cuts have conveyed it is not surprising that the powers that be have devoted a national day of celebration to recognize those fine food friends of ours.

For 2014 that national day of recognition is Sunday July 13.

I am unable to determine who or what started this day of recognition but whoever you are… BRAVO!!!  July 13th of every year is the day to celebrate fries. The named day may vary but stick to the 13th of July and shout with joy and gulp down a plate of crinkle-cuts and all will be right with the world.
